Become an Official

Thank you for your interest in becoming a women's lacrosse official. 
What You'll Need to Do
 1. Contact WMWLOC at [email protected]
 2. Become a member of US Lacrosse
 3. Attend a new officials clinic. The dates can be found on the calendar.
 4. Pass the US lacrosse rules exam. 
  • Youth and Apprentice; min. score 80
  • Local umpire; 86 or above
  • District; 90 or above
  • National and International  Umpire; 92 or above                              

Training Programs

Training programs consist of classroom and on-the-field training. You will need to attend both to become an official.
Game Fees

Apprentice; $20 per youth game
Rated Official; $40 per youth game, Varsity $68, JV $58
